Set Up Skillest & Redeem Your First Lesson

Skillest is where all our coaching takes place. You'll use it to upload your swing videos, receive your lessons, access your drills, and message me directly.

Start by downloading Skillest and creating a free account.

Once you've created your account, open my Skillest coaching profile and select the individual swing lesson. At checkout, enter the code below to redeem your first lesson for free.

    Your Unique First-Lesson Code

Enter NEW317 at Skillest checkout. Your first lesson should be discounted to $0. You will not need this code for future months. Please do not share it.

Important: Your coaching membership is already paid for, so you should not be charged again on Skillest. Make sure your first lesson shows a total of $0 after applying the code. If it doesn't, don't complete checkout. Just email me and I'll help you get set up.

    How to Use Skillest

Watch this quick walkthrough to get familiar with the app, learn where to upload your swing videos, and see how to access your lessons and feedback.

  2. 02

    Record Your Golf Swing

Before uploading your first lesson, watch the recording guide below. Getting the camera angles right makes a big difference in my ability to accurately analyze your swing.

I'll need two views of your swing: Face-on and down-the-line. You can record both using your phone.

Camera Angles & How to Record Your Swing

This video shows you exactly where to position your phone for both camera angles. Follow these instructions before sending your first videos.

If possible, record your normal swing rather than trying to change anything before sending it. I want to see what you're currently doing so we can build the right plan.

  3. 03

    Submit Your First Lesson

Once you've redeemed your first lesson, complete the onboarding questions and upload your swing videos through Skillest.

The questions help me understand your current game, your goals, how much time you have to practice, and what practice facilities and equipment you have access to.

This information allows me to build a practice plan specifically for you.

Your first lesson will be the starting point for everything we work on together. I'll review your swing, walk you through what I'm seeing, and build your personalized practice plan.

After Your First Submission

What Happens Next?

Once you've submitted your first lesson, I'll review your swing and put together your personalized coaching plan. Here's how coaching will work moving forward.

  • Your Swing Review I'll analyze your swing, explain what I want you to focus on, and provide a personalized practice plan with drills and specific cues.
  • Your Drill Check Each month, you'll also receive a Skillest follow-up session. Use it to upload videos of yourself performing your assigned drills. I'll review them to make sure you're doing everything correctly.
  • Direct Messaging You can message me through Skillest whenever you have questions about your lessons, drills, or practice plan.
  • Coaching Days I review lessons, drill checks, and messages on Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday. You can upload whenever you'd like, but feedback is provided on those scheduled coaching days.
  • Every Month You'll receive one new full swing lesson each month. Submit updated swing videos so we can compare them to your previous lesson, see what's changing, and continue building your game.
